Robin Kravets is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. Her interests are in the area of Mobile Computing and Communications.
Professor Kravets currently leads The Mobius Group, which is dedicated to research for seamless communication in mobile computing. She is a member of the Grace Project, which aims to provide a cross-layer solution to global resource management. She is also a member of the GAIA Project, which focuses on research in Active Spaces for Ubiquitous Computing.
Professor Kravets received her Ph.D. from the College of Computing at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Her research was with the Telecommunications/Networking Research Group. She received a B.S. in Computer and Information Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1989 and an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1993.
